Wish I was there . .
My passport is ready and I can be packed in minutes.

24 September 2006

We interupt our regular program . . .

I am feeling very guilty that my blogging has dropped off since I returned to work. I just haven't felt very inspired to write as the new job has been very overwhelming and I can't say much about it. Some good news from the home front:
  1. Hew has kicked into gear on the potty training. He only uses a pull-up during nap and night. We are still celerbrating every number 2 with a lolly and a potty dance, but at least I am not changing dirty diapers!
  2. KK has decided to be Tinkerbell for Halloween. Hew is still undecided, but is leaning towards being a "princess" like his sister. Sigh . . .
  3. PerfectHusband's job has been especially generous as of late and we are now going the New England for Thanksgiving. We are headed to the mountains, where we hope to have a dusting of snow, to get us into the holiday spirit! We thought about heading to Germany or the Netherlands as we have a week and found a really great price, but then realized our children do not have passports - oops!
  4. The stress of the new job has resulted in a few pounds of weight loss which my MIL noticed during her visit yesterday.
  5. No major hurricanes have hit our area yet!

I will try to find a life and have something more interesting to write about.

Well - everything you wrote was extremely interesting to me...

1. Yeah for less diapers.
2. Don't worry about the costume thing. My brother loved copying me too!!!
(at age 2 he wanted to be a big fat man!)

3. Yeah for holidays. I hope this one goes well. And ooops... yeah I guess so...

4. I guess there can be a good thing that comes out of stress...

And lastly... GRRR. I just got an answer I didn't want about immigration. Basically it will be taking longer than I want. Right now, I don't know what to do or which questions to ask even if I call for more information... ho hum...

Hopefully the job thing will smooth out soon... it's tough having your attention divided.

By the way, we lived in new england for a little over a year and did lots & lots of hiking in the mountains during that time... you'll have a blast!

Hi Hexe! Nothing wrong with taking a blog brake from time to time!
@1: Great improvements!
@2: A tough decision!
@3: Happy Thanks Giving in New England and get the passport so you could go to Norway next year:-)
@4: Don’t stress more pounds – it’s taking your energy as well!
@5: Stop looking for the other shoes to fall – worries never pay you know!
Have a lovely weekend!

Hi there! Don't feel bad about not blogging, I was MIA for a couple of months due to moving and lack of internet. Life happens! ;o)

That's so cute about your son wanting to be like his sis for halloween.

No major hurricanes is definitely a good thing! Fingers crossed that Florida makes it through the entire hurricane season without one!
