As many of you know, we can not talk to anyone here in Florida about our job search and desire to move. That was the reason this blog was born because I needed a place to dream and think and talk about this crazy idea.
PH received an email yesterday about a resume he sent to Denmark. He spoke with them this morning and they want to do an interview in one of their US offices. It is just a first interview and there would be several others as they are a big company with offices worldwide. I am unsure what to think and have a million questions.
Holy Smokes!

Congratulations and good luck! My father's family was Norwegian and I've always wanted to go there, or anywhere else in Scandinavia. Unfortunately there may be as many death metal fans in Norway as there are in Florida. Sorry to hear about all those terrible incidents at your local schools--it sounds like it's time for you to leave....I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
I will keep my finger crossed. Denmark is only 4 hours from where I live AND they speak excellent English there. Just thought you should know (smile).
Excellent! Isn't it fun just dreaming of the possibilities??
I keep my fingers crossed for you!
It's great, however it will turn out, to see that there's a tangible possibility (great word combination *grin*).
And who knows what the future will hold? I have lived in lots of different countries doing different jobs, and it feels as though I have had lots of different lives, instead of just the one that most people have
Oooh, Denmark would be fabulous for you guys. We loved it when we visited and they seem to have it all under control in terms of education, unemployment (thousands of Germans flock to Denmark every year because there are jobs there and the German unemployment rate is extremely high) etc., not to mention the adorable scenery. :-)
Thank you all for the good thoughts and kind wishes. It was nice to know that there is some interest and that we are not chasing unattainable idea. We'll just keep our fingers crossed and keep sending out the cv!
I cross my fingers and hope they have a branch office in Norway too :-)
